Join a cruise on the lovely Avantura (Click here to see a video tour of Avantura), built in 2019 and extensively refurbished in 2024 and one of the very few ships with both a jacuzzi and a relaxation pool.
Starting from Split, dominated by the extraordinary ruins of Emperor Diocletian's Palace embedded into central Split, we cruise to Trogir, founded by Greeks and occupied by Romans & Venetians who left their stamp, and another UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Next to beautiful Hvar, a very small, lively and trendy port, with medieval buildings and a small castle overhanging the town - Make sure you venture up here for a sun-downer and/or an ice cream. Over the next few days we will head to Vis and (weather permitting) visit the Blue Cave, Mljet National Park and Korcula, another medieval port known as a mini-Dubrovnik and the birth place of Marco Polo. Finally, we cruise to Dubrovnik and spend an afternoon and evening exploring the Pearl of the Adriatic.

This morning you will get the opportunity to stroll through the streets of Split in the company of our guide. Split is second largest Croatian city, best known for its glorious palace of Roman Emperor Diocletian which is inscribed in list of UNESCO World Heritage sites since 1979.
Return to Avantura around noon and set sail towards our first stop, the city of Trogir, another Unesco world heritage site. While sailing towards Trogir, your lunch will be served on board. We will also make a swim stop along the way in a quiet bay and we’ll arrive in Trogir in the afternoon. You can join our guide for a walking tour of Trogir whose rich history, influenced by many civilisations (Greeks, Romans, Venetians), is visible on every single step of its beautiful, narrow, cobbled streets. You will admire the architecture of Trogir’s most imposing monument, the Cathedral of St Lawrence, built in Romanesque-Gothic style. After the city tour, you have free time to explore Trogir at your own pace or have a dinner in one of the numerous restaurants. Overnight in Trogir. (B, L)
In the morning, we leave Trogir and head to our next stop, the beautiful own of Hvar on the island of Hvar. We will have a swim stop along the way and lunch on board. Upon arrival in Hvar, join a guided city tour, find out about its rich history, beautiful architecture and important landmarks like Cathedral of St Stephen, the Theatre which is one of the oldest in Europe dating back from 1612, and the Spanish Fortress - a well worthwhile short uphill walk form the town centre and a great spot for a beer and/or ice cream. Later in the evening, you can explore the town on your own and check what its night life has to offer. Overnight in Hvar. (B, L)
In the morning, we set sail again on Avantura, this time towards the island of Biševo and its famous Blue Cave. This mesmerizing natural attraction is breath-taking when, in the morning, the sunlight which reflects from the sandy sea bed and bathes the cave in aquamarine light.
NB The Blue Cave can only be accessed by a small boat and if there is some wind or swell it may not be possible to the enter the cave. We will only know about the sea conditions and possibility of entrance on the same morning of the visit.
If we are lucky enough to get to see Blue Cave, we will arrive in Vis after lunch. Vis (Mama Maria II was filmed here) is a small town on eponymous island, well known for its strategic importance through the years. You will have free time to explore Vis at your own pace and visit one of many fortresses, like Fortress of Saint George. Vis was closed to the public when part of Yugoslavia, so the wonderful island is still like an unspoiled and preserved oasis. Overnight in Vis. (B, L)
Morning departure towards the island of Korčula, with plenty of time for swimming before lunch. The small city of Korčula is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean, thought to be the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. After arriving in Korčula in the afternoon, you can join our guide for a walking tour of Korčula. After the walking tour, enjoy your free evening to try out some homemade food in one of many restaurants. Overnight in Korčula. (B, L)
We leave Korčula in the morning and cruise towards the island of Mljet. We expect to arrive in Pomena (The port on Mljet) at around 10:00. Upon arrival, you will visit Mljet National Park, well known for its versatile eco-system and two salt lakes (‘’Veliko jezero’’- Big Lake and ‘’Malo jezero’’- Small Lake), as well as for Benedictine Monastery from 12th century located on the St Mary’s Islet. There are many walking trails around and you can also cycle around the lakes (Approx 11 KMS, cycle hire extra), rent kayaks or swim in the lakes. There is also a cafe or two so ice cream is often the order of the day.
In the afternoon, our adventure continues, and we cruise towards the island of Šipan and its peaceful fishermen’s village, Šipanska Luka. In case we are not able to anchor there because of weather conditions or docking capacity limits, we will cruise to Slano, situated in a mainland. In the evening, enjoy in Captain’s dinner on board. Overnight in Šipanska Luka or in Slano. (B, L, CD)
We sail to Dubrovnik, our last stop and yet another city listed among UNESCO’s World Heritage sites. We will moor in Gruž port from where a coach will take you to Dubrovnik centre for a guided walking tour. After a guided city tour, you will have plenty of free time to explore rich history of the old town or visit some of the famous sights of the “Pearl of Adriatic”, like cable car ride to Srđ Mountain or a stroll along the city walls. A coach transfer back to Gruž harbour will be organized for you. Overnight in Dubrovnik. (B, L)
After breakfast, it’s time to disembark. (B) The itinerary schedule, as well as the corresponding services are subject to change the captain’s say is final. In the case of the bad weather, the captain has the right to modify the itinerary in order to ensure the safety and protection of the passengers. Please note that due to the limited capacity of some ports, the overnight port can occasionally be replaced by other port (i.e. Hvar could be replaced by Stari Grad or Jelsa).

Avantura was launched in 2019 and in 2024 Avantura welcomed guests to a completely renovated cabins and sundeck.
At 49 metres long Avantura is one of the largest vessels allowed into the small ports and harbours of Croatia's coast and islands.
Avantura has a jacuzzi on the sun deck, a spacious restaurant with free seating, a rear deck open lounge and a swin platform. Avantura is crewed by a team of 8 who are all locals from the Croatian coast and know the area intimately.
