Immerse yourself in the frozen world of the Seventh Continent and the natural beauty of Chile’s fjords in this late Antarctic summer expedition cruise.
The wonders of Antarctica
Get ready for eight days of beautiful sunsets tinting the icescapes in wonderful colours. This is also the best season for whale-watching when larger numbers and different species come to feed on krill. You’ll also get to see adolescent penguin chicks finish moulting into their adult plumage. The Expedition Team will be your guides on landings, ice-cruising and optional activities, bringing you closer to Antarctica’s scenery and wildlife. Since this is true wilderness, local ice and weather conditions will be constantly changing. That’s why we adjust our itinerary regularly to be able to take you to where you’ll have the best experience at that time.
Chilean fjords and Patagonia
After crossing the Drake Passage, we arrive at Cape Horn and we’ll make an attempt to go ashore if conditions allow. The beautiful waterways and canals of the Chilean fjords come next and a stop at Puerto Natales, gateway to Torres del Paine National Park. From there, we continue north to the secluded village of Puerto Edén. After sailing the fabled waters of Patagonia, your last stop on your cruise will be the colonial city of Castro before returning to Valparaíso.
- Puerto Natales - Gateway to the ‘Blue Towers’
- Castro, Chile - Chilote charm
- Antarctica - The White Wonder
